Ingredients
- 16 ounces penne pasta
- 1/2 container Bolani Basil Pesto
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1/2 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped or torn for garnish
- 1/4 cup shaved Parmesan cheese (optional)
- 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Cook penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1/4 cup of pasta water, then drain.
- While the pasta cooks, halve the cherry tomatoes and prepare the fresh basil garnish.
- Add cooked penne to a large bowl. Stir in Bolani Basil Pesto and toss until the pasta is evenly coated.
- Add cherry tomatoes and gently mix to combine. If needed, add a splash of reserved pasta water to loosen the sauce.
- Top with fresh basil and Parmesan cheese before serving.
